Melanie – Hospital Manager & Certified Veterinary Technician
Melanie, from Norwell, MA, is our Hospital Manager. She is also a Certified Veterinary Technician. She studied her undergrad at Simon’s Rock College and received her Associate's of Science in Veterinary Technology from San Juan College in 2013. She has practiced in veterinary clinics in Oklahoma, Washington, and Kentucky. She is interested in neurology and hepatology. Her family happily shares their home with five cats, a dog, and a bunny. She enjoys photography and theatre. Melanie has lived all over the country and is very happy to now be back in New England!
Grace – Veterinary Technician
Grace has been on the Weymouth Landing Cat Clinic team since 2008. She grew up in Braintree, MA and resides there now with her three cats, Sprocket, Apollo, and Xander, one dog, Jake, and three Peking ducks, Napoleon, Rosie, and Heathcliff. Grace studied Wildlife Biology at the University of Vermont and Echocardiography at Bunker Hill Community College. Her favorite activities include gardening and sewing.
Marissa – Veterinary Technician
Marisa was born and raised in Weymouth and still happily calls Weymouth her home. She joined The Weymouth Landing Cat Clinic in March 2015. Marisa received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Marine Biology from the University of Rhode Island in 2010 and then lived abroad in Australia for three years. Since returning to the US, Marisa has been an active volunteer with the Rescue and Rehabilitation department of the New England Aquarium, and has recently decided to head back to school at North Shore Community College to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. Marisa has always been a huge cat lover, having grown up with six cats and being involved with Trap, Neuter, and Release efforts. She now has three cats, Charles Xavier, Mystique and Sammy, and a tortoise named Squirt. Marisa enjoys traveling, running, photography and, of course, hanging around the house with her cats and a good book.
Kendra — Veterinary Technician
Kendra began her position as a Veterinary Technician at our practice in January 2016. From the Middleboro area, she has also worked at Lakeville Animal hospital for 12 years. She has a mini Australian Shepard named Franki and 2 Cochin chickens, Lucy and Ethel! Kendra enjoys her time poolside with friends, traveling, and hitting the beach.
Kelly C — Certified Veterinary Assistant
Kelly joined our staff at Weymouth in the summer of 2016. She is a Certified Veterinary Assistant and is on her way to becoming a CVT at Massasoit Community College. Kelly's areas of medical interest are behavior studies and neonatal care. When she is not reading up on wolves or playing with her adorable cat, Jasper, she is reading or trying adventurous foods. Kelly is from Putney, Vermont but now lives in Weymouth. The WLCC team is delighted to have her helping out with patient care!
Megan – Certified Veterinary Assistant
Megan has been a Veterinary Assistant at Weymouth Landing Cat Clinic since March of 2015. She was raised in Pembroke, MA where she currently lives. Megan is most interested in animal surgery. She has two kittens, Will and Grace, whom she was originally was fostering - but they were too loveable to give up! Megan enjoys painting, learning, adventuring, music, and patient care. She is currently training to become a Certified Veterinary Technician at San Juan College.
Kelly G — Client Care Specialist
Kelly joined our Client Care team in March of 2016. She grew up in Mansfield, MA and now currently resides in Marshfield. Kelly graduated from Roger Williams University in 2010 and adores spending time with her Maltese Poodle - Lola. She spends her free time engaging in stand up paddling, disc golf, tennis, boating and long walks on the beach with Lola.
Michaela — Client Care Specialist
Michaela joined our Client Care team in March of 2017. She grew up in Hanson, Massachusetts and currently resides in Whitman. Michaela graduated from Massasoit Community College in 2010, and enjoys spending her free time making music with her four-legged roommates and human pals. Michaela is also a certified Reiki Master and lover of all animals.
Kasey – Pet Care Attendant
Kasey is one of Weymouth Landing Cat Clinic’s Pet Care Attendants. She grew up in Pembroke, MA and currently resides there with her three cats, Abby, Marlie, and Tatum, and a betta fish named Ghost. Kasey has a B.S. in Computer Science and works full time as a programmer. She recently began studying Veterinary Technology at San Juan College and is interested in animal behavior and dentistry. Outside of work, Kasey has practiced Kung Fu for nearly 5 years and recently traveled abroad to China to train. She enjoys working with animals and has volunteered at the Animal Rescue League and Standish Humane Society.
Sarah J. – Pet Care Attendant
Sarah has been a Pet Care Attendant at Weymouth Landing Cat Clinic for almost four years. She grew up in Pembroke, MA and now lives in nearby Holbrook, MA. She has also practiced at the Willard Veterinary Clinic in Quincy. She has two cats and one dog - all of which she has rescued! Her interests include painting, movies, reading, and travel. Sarah lives with her husband and two sons who also love animals.
